Axed KFC staff get their jobs back

Following a public outcry KFC has been contacting laid off disabled workers with offers of re-employment. Some workers have leaped at the chance but at least five turned it down. Jared Dixon has autism and was last year forced out after 16 years working part-time at the Greymouth store. Aussie job advert numbers fall for second month

Australian job advertisements fell in August as global financial instability discouraged companies from hiring, a private report showed. Jobs advertised in newspapers and on the internet dropped 0.6 per cent last month, after a decrease of the same number in July, according to an Australia & New Zealand Banking Group report released yesterday.
